Visiting from USA

Could you suggest some places to use my metal detector? We are stating near menai bridge. Do i need a permit? Are there any locals that would be interested in joining me?

Thank y for writing to Anglesey Hidden Gem.

For my part, I always seem to find detectorists on the main beaches and always at the end of the day. I thin that they will be looking for more recent treasures.

I have to apologise but I know very little indeed about detectoring and hope that previous visitors to this site will be able to advise.
